Here’s the great thing about writing blogs. I won a 2 Days 1 Night stay at Golden Palm Tree Sea Villas & Spa by writing this. It was an unexpected victory but it made me feel good. The place I was given a night stay was actually worth RM 599 a night for two. But I’ve to say the view was magnificent and beyond words. So, I thought I’d head down with my family for a quick weekend getaway since it was school holidays and it was a Sunday – Monday where I don’t have classes on Monday. So, we definitely went for a quick swim and just rock and roll. But my skin get crinkled too fast so I went off to take a quick shower first and took some pictures! Can’t you see the genuine smile? ;p No, no. I am not vain. Not at all. I don’t know what my brother was trying to pose. But yeah … Sister. 😉 The view from where I was sitting. It looks so good. It’s like the suites wee all built above waters and they have approx 900 rooms there. I am impressed. A view from my room to the beach. The beach was busy and it wasn’t too bad! I don’t know how the idea of “taking-a-picture-of-my-feet” came about; but my feet looks good what!!?!?!? Another poserr! Opps, you saw that iPhone. Yes, your tweet replies for me was all about being JEALOUS! But seriously, it was friggin’ good that it’s worth a tweet! See, see, this was from my room. And it was fantastic. The room was huge enough for all 5 of us with a cozy sofa, 2 beds, Internet connection, Astro flat screen TV, huge toilet / bathrooms, Oh, if you were following my tweets, I actually talked about the bathing area where everyone can see everyone, if you don’t close the blind la! So many things can be done on the flooor woot! So here’s the thing. I was too busy eating and was too hungry that I told myself to screw pictures. We drove about 30 minutes out from the hotel to Tanjung Sepat food good food. Seafood, to be exact. Coincidentally, my mum’s colleague was back in her hometown, Tanjung Sepat. So, she brought us out. See that Claypot Curry thingy? I love that most!Yes, only crazy shots of this guy will appear here. Decent shots of him will never appear in my blog! So, this is one amazing trip. I wanna stay in hotels, like, forever. I mean. For real. It’s amazing the services and the convenience you get. Don’t remind me of the price. ___________________________________________________________________________ Address: Sepang Goldcoast, No. 67 Jalan Pantai Bagan Lalang | Kg. Bar’licious is a modern restaurant and bar that serves yummy, delicious & halal western food located in Solarist Dutamas. A great place to hang out & unwind after a hard day of work with your love ones and friends. This is one unique header. You have to agree with me on this. With a contemporary design and furnitures, Bar’licious is considered to be one of the hippest place in town. Oh, if you are a fan of high ceiling, this is definitely one of them. They do serve some wine too. I ain’t a big fan of alcohol, but the design and outlook looks impressive. One of the item served in the menu in Bar’licious. It is some sort of Minestrone soup. A lil sour but I have to say that the soup is really rich. A Roast Chicken Salad. They do have some vinegar in it, it’s pretty sour but it keeps you awake. An amazing appetizer. I didn’t get to try this, but it is definitely one of the amazing food in Bar’licious. The serving itself looks really neat, nice and yummy! I don’t know what made my eyes that way. But oh, it’s just another snap shot of myself. Carbonara Pasta. This smells extremely delicious. Very nice and unique. This is the Bar’licious Soup. This was rich and it tastes extremely nice. It has some Barley in it and if you think it suck, nope, the taste was awesome. Squid! This is no joke. Big pieces of squid all for you. Told you they had amazing decoration? Chicken Chop. Waaaaaw, The smell was actually really nice when it was served. This is amaazing. Being a desert freak, this one is really amazing. The chocolate and the stars brings you to heaven, with that little bread under it. It blends really well. The rich taste of chocolates that just melts in your mouth. Check out I LOVE DISCOUNTS all this week to find out a super exclusive good deal. Police checked his background and alibi and have determined that he was not the man they were looking for, said city CID Chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Ku Chin Wah on Sunday. The man came in after his brother saw the photofit and advised him to clear his name with the police. No new case of acid splashing has been reported since the last one on Friday, he said. ___________________________________________________________________________ *edit* Sorry to depress you guys this weekend but I felt compelled to share this info Anita Sharma sent me on the serial acid splasher: All of us must be on our toes from now onwards. We must work hand-in-hand to track down this animal. This serial acid splasher is of dark complexion and he rides either a Honda EX5 or Yamaha bike with a basket in front. So you should be more careful when you see these 2 types of bike approaching you. If you are a woman, a girl….or well just about anyone who is staying in KL-you might want to follow the following guidelines here: Always walk facing against the traffic: So that the serial acid splasher will not attack you from the back. Besides that by walking against the traffic you will have a better chance of avoiding anyone who looks suspicious to you. Avoid walking by the side of the road: If possible don’t walk at the side of the road at all if it is unnecessary. You will be exposed and make yourself easy target for this serial acid splasher. Walk near the building where there are crowded people. Always bring along an umbrella: This might sound crazy…but I suggest that you bring along a huge umbrella with you. So whenever you see someone suspicious approaching you, immediately open that umbrella to shield yourself from any possible attack. Yes! Just open it even though it is not raining. Best of all use the umbrella all the time. Moreover your umbrella can be a potent weapon for you to defend yourself in dangerous situations. Inform the police of any suspicious motorcyclist: Banking on our lazy and inefficient Malaysian police alone is not enough. So the moment you see anyone riding a bike with dark complexion and looks suspicious…immediately take down the number plate and inform the police to come over as soon as possible. Who knows? Your information might lead to the nabbing of this serial acid splasher! Put on more clothes: I know the weather is scorching hot right now. But putting on an extra jacket or vest might buy you some time to escape the devastating acid if *touch wood* you are being splashed! Don’t go out at all: No matter where you go, try not to walk…at all. If possible don’t even go out if you don’t have any transport, preferably car. It doesn’t matter if the sundry shop is only 50 metres away from your home…you don’t want to risk being splashed with acid right? So ask your parents, husband or other family members to ferry you around if you can. Use as much water as possible: Water is the best remedy to counter the corrosive acid. The moment someone is being splashed with acid (either it is you or other victims), pour as much water as possible onto the affected body parts especially the eyes. Keep on pouring a large amount of water to dilute the acid. Keep on doing this until the acid has been diluted and washed away. So I suggest all of us to bring a water bottle all the time.
My last post for Amazing Race (Part 3) : I LOVE MY CITY. The last task was to be back at church and be thrown water balloon at. This was the big mastermind who threw the water balloons down. It looks as if she almost fell off the windows. 2nd Runner Ups posing for a photo. The Champions and the Runner Up? Whose who? And a group big picture! And the big Champions. Let’s hope you guys had a “journey” with me on Amazing Race. Stay tune for some more awesome posts.

I initially wanted to take a break from blogging but I decided to put this into words. So, the mega news circulated over the Internet and creating a massive chaos over all social networks – Facebook, Twitter, etc. So, whats your take? I am gonna make this as thought provoking as I could, as how I always want it to be instead of making you flush down my thoughts in your throat. What is 1Malaysia Email? – It is basically an email given to any Malaysian above 18 with abc@1Malaysia.com.my Does it makes one cooler or more united by just having the same surname or end-name? We could all be called Alvin Malaysia. How does that sounds? If you think having the same surname brings unity, I want you to know that it’s just a “name”. How about talking about issues regarding this whole concept? Security – You have to agree that Malaysians, generally can be the No 1 in introducing any products or any services. But when it comes to maintaining, we fail miserably. And hence, Security (password leakage) and all could be an issue. And this is something Malaysians really need to work on, MAINTAINING. Privacy – If you think you like someone opening up your emails reading them once in a while, then you are gonna love this. And imagine this is the GOVERNMENT portal holding all your I LOVE YOU, WHY NO KISS ME? I HATE YOU messages. I am diverting this away from politics; but ponder this: What if you talk bad about the government? We are a democratic country anyways? And all in all, COSTS – I don’t really care who is forking out the money. It doesn’t really matter. My point here is: Is 50 million worth it when something that is better and more established is already at our doorstep? 50 million could have done a great deal with closing the digital gap in Sarawak and the urban cities, yes? Are we really being thrifty by spending 50 million? Speculations have warned that Malaysia is going bankrupt. I am not talking about the authenticity of this news, but government should be THRIFTY in their spending. 50 million could bring 50 million smiles, 50 million could bring 25 million homes, 50 million do a lot. To sum it all, here’s the view of Chief Minister of Penang, Lim Guan Eng said to Prime Minister on this issue:
And I have to agree your suggestion is brilliant. This is clearly not a chicken and egg issue. When you have no WiFi, you have no connection, you have no connection, you have no email. My take: ADDRESS THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM. Give free WiFi. To make your day brighter:
Video has been removed. This is the video where it was claimed that Malaysia’s Top Opposition Politician was involved. It is not the full video uploaded by “thepowercam”. NewStraitsTimeOnline says this:
