Bad Ass Coffee, Tropicana City Mall

Like it or not, everyone has our own bad side. Just that this little picture here says that I Love My Bad Ass Attitude. It does has some attitude in it, don’t you think so? Located at one of the new PJ Hangout Spots, Tropicana City Mall is definitely one of the place you have to go. With reasonable crowd and spacious walking space, it’s definitely a place to chill out, do some window shopping and just take a break from the jams. Bad Ass Coffee, a very unique name, located at Tropicana City Mall; near towards the Office Towers, is definitely one place that caught my eye. You get a real Hawaiian feeling in there because of the setting.IMG_0574 It’s not just any ordinary coffee shop or coffee chain, but this one stands unique because of the food, pastries, cakes and of course drinks they serve. My personal favourite? The doughnuts and the Double Chocolate blend is definitely something to go for everytime I head there. I’ve been drinking the same drink for at least 5 times now, and it never fails me. And I thought I might as well mention it, I think I’ve had at least 3-4 times of the doughnuts now. It does sometimes runs outta stocks though!IMG_0436

Bad Ass Coffee is probably one of the very few places that serves Kona coffee – a type of coffee beans cultivated all the way from Hawaii. It is one of the most sought after coffees in the world, but via some wonderful cosmic arrangement, the relatively unsophisticated coffee drinking crowd here in Malaysia gets a franchise. – KY SpeaksIMG_0572 And this is just 1 of the few doughnuts pictures I took, it’s big huge and sugary. And the texture of it is just beyond words. But caution, you might have to have a big mouth to finish it. Haha.IMG_0573And really, please go grab yourself this Double Chocolate Blend thingy, it’s just worth all your money; and of course the ever so delicious doughnuts.

Smajo’s Pizza, Palma Poolside / Bukit Bintang

So, recently I got to taste some good stuffs. Really good stuffs. It’s Smajo’s Pizza; a new kid to the Pizza world. I did the whole tasting and “gluttoning” in Palma Poolside. It was just 2 pizzas, but I thought it was good enough for a great lunch. Chef Ismail, is a chef from an Island far far away, I am writing this cause I actually forgot where he is from. But no, not a local. IMG_0417This is a pizza you definitely much eat and try if you always complain that “They don’t put enough of this, they don’t put enough of that”. At Smajo’s, they believe that whether or not you are a blogger, a guest, or whoever, you’d still get the same full amount of ingredients. Isn’t that awesome. Okay, I honestly hate double-standards. Thats a fact.IMG_0418 So, these are the 2 awesome pizzas I got to try. Don’t you think it’s amazing.IMG_0419 You also have to know this: I had these pizzas by the poolside. Damn amazing I tell you. It’s just aweeeeesome viewwww. It’s crazily windy and relaxing. I am gonna give you some ideas. Yeah, my mind’s all over. If you wanna watch hot chics, yeah, maybe you should just have a meal there. But.. That’s obviously not the point. It’s just good good pizza!IMG_0420 I know I gained weight, look at the pizzas, not me!IMG_0421 I love pineapples, the one with turkey and pineapples are so so so delicious. It’s nothing like an ordinary pizza you get. You get way more than the usual “Hawaiian Pizza”!IMG_0423 IMG_0426 IMG_0427 This was the first time I think I had 4 pieces. Crazy I tell you. Now you know why I gained weight. Blame the pizza. It’s too awesomepossum!IMG_0428There are even more pizzas for your selection. And you definitely must try. If you are cheese, don’t blame me, but I think you’ll be jelak-tified! Haha.IMG_0429 They have a cafe now at: Palma Poolside Cafe, Mon’t Kiara Palma, Off Jalan Kiara, 50450 Mon’t Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. But fret not, if thats too far, they are now side-by-side with Old Chang Kee in Bukit Bintang, you’d be able to see a huge wordings that writes SMAJO’S PIZZA. Go give it a try, a bite, or whatever you call it. It’s too awesome that you should not miss this good stuffs. Don’t say I didn’t tell ya!

Random: Long Long Roti Tissue

IMG_0416 Recently I had a meet up with my Godparent’s child, my Godbrother la in a way. So, we had supper. And we had roti tissue. I was amused and amazed with the long-ness of the roti tissue and how they actually serve it. Yes, it’s amazingly not too sweet, and I love it’s crisp. Awwwweeesomeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Tapas Bistro and Bar, Micasa All Suite Hotel

So, my life has been all about Eating recently. My cousin told me yesterday, “You only have 1 life to be fat”. Ohhkay, fine. But not toooo fat. Recently, I was invited to Tapas Bistro and Bar at Micasa All Suite Hotel courtesy of I LOVE DISCOUNTS and mann, that place is rocking awesome. I mean it’s just so cozy. If it was earlier, I think the pool view has been awesome. Not that I am perverted.DSC_1270 Dim romantic lightings brings the best out of the place. Not too dim though, just nice for a good dinner with family for chats and hang outs.DSC_1271 They have a bar in the centre too. I don’t drink. Not commenting.DSC_1277 Food arrived, at the Director of Sales Ms Pamela actually served us. Not really served, but I love her hospitality.DSC_1317 So, I don’t know why pictures of me eating always get into action. Makes me look extremely fat and it makes me look like I glutton. But repeat with me, “You only have 1 life to get fat”DSC_1323 DSC_1333 Great talk across the table with lil background light music for our entertainment.DSC_1337 Okay, I admit I gluttoned. But the beef burger thingy was awesomesauce.DSC_1340 The fries are actually made of real potatoes – thick, long, crispy. No, not what you are thinking.DSC_1342 Awesome ambience with tidy decoration.DSC_1345Asian Delights: Char Kuey Teow.DSC_1288 The portion was really good. It was tasty in it’s own unique way with prawns and some sotong in it. It’s no ordinary Char Kuey Teow by the roadside. Asian Delights: Claypot Yee Mee It actually tastes really good. It’s really Asian. You get mushrooms, sotong, eggs, prawns (and ginger). LOL.DSC_1289 DSC_1292 DSC_1295 This is TAPAS, their specialty and unique food. Dip it with the special bread and it tastes really good. It wasn’t at all oily (though it looks like it) and it’s really light.DSC_1298 DSC_1299 Asian Delights: Nasi Lemak. Awesome good stuffs. You get more than the “biasa” – prawns, kangkung, rendang. But this is really good stuffs. I think I loved this the most. It’s really good and filling for one meal. :)DSC_1303 DSC_1305 Hello Tomato Meatballs. You were more than awesome. Tender, soft and chewy. Though I did think your balls came a little to big for my one bite mouth! 😛DSC_1306 Western Delights: Beef Burger. I was too full when this came out, but you need to know I ate. Don’t judge me! 😛 And the patty was made by the store itself. I like the tenderness of the patty and how one mouth can’t bite the bun, egg, patty and garnishing in it. And not forgetting the fries, if you always think those small tiny fries are not your thing, this IS your thing!DSC_1319 DSC_1321So, all in all, it’s a place you and me should go. Hangout together. Take a chat. Catchup and Crap.

All this week in I LOVE DISCOUNTS you get a special deal of more than 40% at such a classy restaurant. Bring as many friends or your family there during the weekends. It is more than a great treat for your loved ones. It’s impressive and I think you should take a meal there. ___________________________________________________________________________ Address: 368-B Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Perseketuan. Swan Lake Korean Restaurant, Sri Petaling

So, I was thinking as to what to write or blog about since I’ve numerous pending posts. I know, it doesn’t sound too good on me. This is a restaurant located at Sri Petaling, the new area where the hype is starting to build up – Swan Lake Korean Restaurant.DSC_1232This place has very traditional and unique architecture; though it does not have the capacity to be a boutique restaurant yet. But that was what I felt when I entered. DSC_1233 See, I told you that my psychic mind tells me their original plan was to make it a boutique restaurant. I like the unique floorings. I am weird.DSC_1234 This place is excellent for hang out. It’s spacious, it’s cozy and it’s like a place where people can chill, scream and even do what they want lah. 😛DSC_1238 If you think this place can easily be packed, no way. It’s huge.DSC_1239 DSC_1241 Here’s the food shots for this restaurant. I’d say it tastes pretty weird. But I gotta confess; I AM NO FAN OF KOREAN FOOD. So, I’d think the mentions below are based on my jurisdiction. If it tastes worst than what I wrote, forgive me. If it tastes better than what I wrote, then good for you lah! HahaDSC_1251 This is a kind of Korean BBQ Meat. On my first bite, I thought it smell weird (I AM WEIRD). But on my consecutive few rounds, I thought it tastes really good. You know those rendang meat? The meat does feel like those. On my last few bites, I prolly got the fatter meat, so I wasn’t too keen. But I like the onion and the way it is served though. Hot and sizzling. 😀DSC_1374 DSC_1379 Don’t be deceived, the picture below is a picture which has not been cooked. It was for illustration purposes only. I personally like the dishes in the hot pot, but not the prawns obviously. I am no fan of seafood, if you’ve not noticed.DSC_1385 I feel like a star when a picture of mine is snapped #randomDSC_1393 DSC_1399 Ohai, by the way, this is XIANG. The blogger who went with me for this food tasting.DSC_1400 I can’t remember if it was my first bite, middle bite, or last bites. I do look bored and I do look like a kid playing with food. But hey, life is meant to be enjoyed, no?DSC_1415 DSC_1417 Welcome to the life of a 12 year old. :))DSC_1423 This is the porridge hot pot. Not a big fan of porridge but I have to admit that the porridge really had the taste of the dishes in it. The prawns, mushrooms and all really made the porridge tastes good. Well, who ever didn’t know that putting prawns and all into a porridge of soup makes it tastes good kan?DSC_1434 DSC_1435 I like this soup. It tastes a bit like Maggi Sup, but the stuffs inside is wayyyy better than Maggi Soup. This is no cheap stuffs. Oh, I like it boiling. It kinda gets me going cause it makes me feel hawt! 😛DSC_1441 They have some red dates in it to get the whole thing going too. I like those red dates. Who doesn’t? 😛DSC_1443 DSC_1445 DSC_1446 DSC_1451 DSC_1452 DSC_1454 DSC_1455 It was crazily frigging hot and the photographer chose to take this picture. No, I’m not afraid of it being spicy. DSC_1473 DSC_1474 DSC_1475 See, we were both slurping soup. The soup was undeniably quite nice.DSC_1482 DSC_1489 DSC_1490 This was the porridge version of it. I know it doesn’t look as appetising as it should be, but it still does have good stuffs in it.DSC_1493 Oh, I like the Blueberry drink. Or was it blackberry. Either way, some sort of berry juice turns me on. Haha. Kidding. 😛DSC_1495 DSC_1503 Well, it’s worth a try. I won’t say it is extremely fantatatastic. But if you are looking for a chillout place, a Korean Chinese Restaurant, a convenient and spacious area, consider this place. ___________________________________________________________________________ Address: 125 Jalan Radin Bagus, Bandar Baru Seri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Perseketuan.

Golden Palm Tree Sea Villas & Spa, Sepang Gold Coast

Here’s the great thing about writing blogs. I won a 2 Days 1 Night stay at Golden Palm Tree Sea Villas & Spa by writing this. It was an unexpected victory but it made me feel good. IMG_1692 The place I was given a night stay was actually worth RM 599 a night for two. But I’ve to say the view was magnificent and beyond words. So, I thought I’d head down with my family for a quick weekend getaway since it was school holidays and it was a Sunday – Monday where I don’t have classes on Monday.IMG_1693 So, we definitely went for a quick swim and just rock and roll. But my skin get crinkled too fast so I went off to take a quick shower first and took some pictures!IMG_1694 Can’t you see the genuine smile? ;pIMG_1696 No, no. I am not vain. Not at all.IMG_1697 IMG_1698 I don’t know what my brother was trying to pose. But yeah …IMG_1701 Sister. 😉IMG_1702 The view from where I was sitting. It looks so good. It’s like the suites wee all built above waters and they have approx 900 rooms there. I am impressed.IMG_1704 A view from my room to the beach. The beach was busy and it wasn’t too bad!IMG_1706 I don’t know how the idea of “taking-a-picture-of-my-feet” came about; but my feet looks good what!!?!?!?IMG_1707 Another poserr!IMG_1709 Opps, you saw that iPhone. Yes, your tweet replies for me was all about being JEALOUS! But seriously, it was friggin’ good that it’s worth a tweet!IMG_1712 IMG_1713 See, see, this was from my room. And it was fantastic.IMG_1714 The room was huge enough for all 5 of us with a cozy sofa, 2 beds, Internet connection, Astro flat screen TV, huge toilet / bathrooms, Oh, if you were following my tweets, I actually talked about the bathing area where everyone can see everyone, if you don’t close the blind la!IMG_1715 So many things can be done on the flooor woot!IMG_1716 So here’s the thing. I was too busy eating and was too hungry that I told myself to screw pictures. We drove about 30 minutes out from the hotel to Tanjung Sepat food good food. Seafood, to be exact.IMG_1718 IMG_1719 IMG_1720 Coincidentally, my mum’s colleague was back in her hometown, Tanjung Sepat. So, she brought us out.IMG_1721 See that Claypot Curry thingy? I love that most!IMG_1723Yes, only crazy shots of this guy will appear here. Decent shots of him will never appear in my blog!IMG_1724So, this is one amazing trip. I wanna stay in hotels, like, forever. I mean. For real. It’s amazing the services and the convenience you get. Don’t remind me of the price. ___________________________________________________________________________ Address: Sepang Goldcoast, No. 67 Jalan Pantai Bagan Lalang | Kg. I drool looking at such delicious food. It can be found in Singapore. I am not joking. It’s called MellBen Seafood, located at Ang Mo Kio. Book seats before going, it can be quite pack though. 😉DSC03194 I’ve to say that this is one of the non-seafood that I enjoyed the most. It’s a meat floss mushroom thing which is really appetizing. DSC03195 Bring you some crabs in Melben. It looks delicious, don’t they?DSC03196 DSC03197 Next up, what to do? I visited some friends and all. This baby is just cute, don’t you think so? Flashback of Randomness

I was just figuring that I’d want to be taking a break from my routine blogging style and bring you some flashback which I evidently remembered that I did not post them up here. These are mostly random shots from everywhere (not exactly: just 3 locations). I thought I’d just post them up, and maybe you can make a script or story through these pictures? What say you? First thing’s first, learn magic stunts and magic show on my blog. It’ has successfully fooled Jiahuei Chong, with my Godfather’s step-by-step magic. You wanna learn step-by-step magic, you can holla me. LOL.IMG_0465And she still got so amazed with the simple tricks, just at Old Town White Coffee. IMG_0466 Next up was something we did quite a while ago, Buffet Steamboat at Yuen, Sunway. A gathering of a bunch of 10 people in 1 table, simply to have loads of funn!IMG_0478 Featuring her again, Jiahuei Chong:IMG_0493 The Lilian Lim:IMG_0494 The Jessie Loh:IMG_0495The Onion Kung:IMG_0496 Yuen’s has a pretty wide range of food I’d say. Opps.. I Did It Again!

The title says it all. I just indulged myself in some of the world’s most fattening food this time round thanks to I LOVE DISCOUNTS. I am not exaggerating to say that I’ve had my chance to try not 1, but 12 different types of Cheese Tarts. I actually dislike Cheesy people, but I like Cheese. See the irony of the mentally ill Alvin Kok once again? Nevertheless, let’s get away from all my random crap that bores you to death. I LOVE DISCOUNTS gave me another chance to grow a few inches fatter and making my dream come through – of being an explosive (fat) balloon with Opps Cheese Tarts at Pavilion today. Opps Cheese Tarts is Malaysia’s 1st Cheese Tart Stall. The first thing that came into my mind when I heard that “Opps” was this:

Yeah, the song gets stuck into anyone’s head in just a second. Anyways, my point is this: Opps is a Cheese Tart Stall located at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur (168, Jalan Bukit Bintang, Bukit Bintang, 55100, Kuala Lumpur) – near Beard Papa at the Ground Floor (near to Food Republic). It’s not any big fancy stalls but the Opps certainly caught my attention.IMG_0224 You see an array of Cheese Tarts that does not look like Cheese Tarts displayed at the fridge in a very nice, orderly and attractive manner.IMG_0225 At the moment, there are 12 different flavours of Cheese Tarts at Opps. And because it just opened, you get to Buy 10 Free 2 currently (But chup, read on more below for surprises!)IMG_0226With the courtesy of Opps and I LOVE DISCOUNTS, I was given a box here of 12 and because I am a balloon, I got a bite of ever piece. LOL!IMG_0228 I was quite fascinated with the different flavours I was given and the way it was placed in a nice box. Suitable as gifts for Cheese-y friends. Okay, I meant Cheese-lovers’ friends that you have.IMG_0229IMG_0230 So, here’s my 2 cents worth (I hope it worth more!) of opinion on the different flavours given to me. You can choose to abide with my preference, but you are always free to give all of it a try! Almond Cheese Tarts –

Cheese Tarts My 2 Cents
Almond Pretty ordinary. But being a nut fanatic, the almond makes it very nutty, crunchy and tasty. The nuts did not cover the smell of the cheese too!
Black Charcoal The word charcoal tells you most of it already. It tastes weird. I don’t eat charcoal okay? But the cheese taste is still there. I thought that was pretty creative though!
Strawberry If you are a Strawberry lover, this is worth a try. The mixture of strawberry and cheese is about just right. It could be slightly sweeter though.
Pumpkin I like the pumpkin seeds on top. Without a doubt, the pumpkin seeds are the one that gives the cheese tart a variety.
Marble If you are a fan of Marble Cake, you would love this. It is something like Marble Cake, but it’s different because of the cheese. Somehow or rather, it tastes a little like Chocolate! 😛
Lemon This is the ordinary Lemon Cheese Tarts you can get out there, but the difference is this has some tiny lemon pieces on it which it’s chewy.
Greentea Okay, I personally thought this one was the most awful one among all. I did not like the thick taste of Greentea. But I know I am always hated for hating Greentea. Prove me wrong? Go try this! It still smells alien to me somehow! 😛
Coffee Coffee lovers, this is worth a try. The coffee taste was not too strong. So, if you dislike strong taste of coffee, this would make it a good dessert.
Chocolate This was slightly too sweet for me. But if you are a big fan of bitter chocolate, this is not for you. Cause it’s not at all bitter!
Raisins I have to say this one was nice. I shared the tarts with a few and all of us agreed the raisins makes it taste good. Something to chew on while enjoying the taste of the cheese.
Blueberry It’s rare we get to eat blueberry. This was pretty unique and creamy with the blueberries on top. This wasn’t too sweet but I like sucking those blueberry juices out in my mouth! 😛
Black Sesame This was also one of the best. Ain’t too sweet and it had a pretty good mixture of black sesame with cheese. This is a must try!

Despite it all, the cheese texture was pretty smooth. Though I personally think that it should be slightly sweeter. If it was sweeter, it would make a perfecto dessert. But if you are not a fan of sweet sweet things, this is just nice. But if you really have sweet tooth, try get those tarts with toppings, that would help compliment the taste. Okay, the above are obviously my taste buds. Drop me a note if you think it tastes better than that after purchasing them! I wannnnaaaaaaaaaaa know! Buy your chees-y friends a box or get yourself a few today. I LOVE DISCOUNTS will be offering some really good deals beginning middle of next week or so. Keep checking on for more cool discounts coming your way. If you wanna compare the prices, a box of 6 costs RM 21.00 while a box of 10 (+2) costs RM 38.00.
