Su’s Cakes for Kicks
I am fat. Don’t tell me. But this cakes is unavoidable la. If I don’t eat it, the name tells you what it’d do to me. I love my butt too much to have a kick. So, I chose to indulge in something that’s really kick-ass.
Su’s Cakes located at the heart of Kuala Lumpur in Fahrenheit88 is really a good place for tea and for relaxation after a long day at work. And they already told you they don’t just bake cakes; cause they bake extraordinary cakes.
This picture is their famous Durian Cheese Cakes. If you have been following me, you’d know I’ll rant about it everytime my house has durian. So, I’ll be honest, I did not try the durian cheesecake, but according to their boss, it’s the best seller in Su’s Cakes.

Oh, this caught my attention. Giant Cupcake. Imagine indulging yourself in this Giant Cupcake. I see it’s attractive. I feel like digging in.
To give you an extra cake, they give you a “kick” with some freshly baked cookies.
Some other cakes at Su’s Cakes for Kicks. It’s niche area is basically “CHEESE”. Who cares if it takes good but costs you that extra few calories? Big fat guy taking here.
I actually like their boxes too. Really well design, simple and clean. Represents elegance. Like it! 😀

No, I am not promoting durian cheesecakes here. But apparently, it really does taste good. How on earth did people ever thought of making durian cheesecakes? How would durian and cheese ever came together? Cheese is like heaven and durian is like (say what you want). 😛
The chocolate cheese cake. Really good. Ain’t too sweet. If you like deep dark choco, this is the one. I actually loved the nutty under the cakes. I like crispy crunchy things, remember?
Don’t ask me why Durian Cheesecakes keep popping up. I have no ideas. 😀
Blueberry Cheese Cake. Okay, this is fatabulous. The Blueberry is really tasty unlike some cakes which has just a little of blueberry. It’s sweet and it mixes well with the cheese. And as usual, the digestive biscuits at the bottom rocks my socks!
I am overweight. I am excited. Thats just me. Having a slice of cakes gets me going.

These kids today, they grow up so fast. One minute they’re Disney Channel princesses, the next they’re femme fatales from the Jazz Age. Selena Gomez has unveiled the cover for Selena Gomez & the Scene’s new album, When the Sun Goes Down, and we have to say, much like everything else the 18-year-old does, it’s pretty darn adorable. The singer-actress is all dolled up like a Fitzgeraldian flapper, with a hint of Cleopatra lurking in those thick bangs. But perhaps the best part is the fact that neither her pose nor her overall look is overtly sexy. Sure, she looks lovely, but she’s neither naked nor trying to make you picture her naked. Well done, Selena. Speaking of which, When the Sun Goes Down, is supposed to feature "Whiplash," a tune cowritten by Britney Spears.
The third studio effort from Justin Bieber‘s gal and her all-guy band, is out June 28. She seems all grown up, don’t you think so?

This is definitely one of the “hottest” place in Kuala Lumpur. Before it all, let me apologise for placing so many pictures on this post. I really like some of the shots and by the time I chose, it still amount this many pictures. Introducing to you: SUKA with an amazing tagline: Food. Drinks. Social.
Suka Cafe is located at the heart of the city in Kuala Lumpur and is situated among many offices, buildings and shop lots. Suka Cafe really have loads to offer. Who cares if it’s situated among many other coffee shop when it is really good? The grand entrance at Suka really tells a lot, eh?
The “welcome lounge” looks need, tidy and comfortable as always. It is not for sleeping la obviously! It’s definitely a chill out place!
This is the serving area and I personally like the design and how things are placed. Tidy, neat and welcoming. 😉

Oh, I always loved cafes with high ceiling so that I can see the sky. Just kidding. But this cafe really has nice ceiling.
When there’s matches on, you get to see things LIVE in Suka. Hang out, chill out – it’s all you can do at Suka.

I want to randomly add that I love the Thai Chilli Sauce. It’s superblicious. It is well presented. Doesn’t at all looks messy. Really good for lunch or dinner.

This is another one. If you are a carnivore, then this is a must-try. Matched with dumplings and touge. I have to say that the Dumplings (or wanton) is really really really good. Crispy and filled with meat. Okay, I love crispy stuffs. I won’t mind having a tong of it as tidbits at work. ;p

Suka Cafe is also a good hangout place for lunch and dinner. Not too noisy and good for discussion and chats. It’s a place where many office workers, youths hang out at. 
Don’t tell the boss I told you that I usually have my band meetings there. Have a meal and discuss all your stuffs there. Pretty good place.
Good service too. There are many waiters and waitress there enthusiastically waiting for you to join them!
Pricing at Suka Cafe isn’t very expensive. It’s very reasonable for such a location and ambience. If you are comparing to your friendly neighbourhood cafes or kopitiams, this is 10 times better. Believe or not. Go try!
If you want to stay out and have a meal enjoying the hustle bustle of the city, the exterior of Suka is really nice and wide too.

The Acid Splasher
Police checked his background and alibi and have determined that he was not the man they were looking for, said city CID Chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Ku Chin Wah on Sunday. The man came in after his brother saw the photofit and advised him to clear his name with the police. No new case of acid splashing has been reported since the last one on Friday, he said. ___________________________________________________________________________ *edit* 
Sorry to depress you guys this weekend but I felt compelled to share this info Anita Sharma sent me on the serial acid splasher: All of us must be on our toes from now onwards. We must work hand-in-hand to track down this animal. This serial acid splasher is of dark complexion and he rides either a Honda EX5 or Yamaha bike with a basket in front. So you should be more careful when you see these 2 types of bike approaching you. If you are a woman, a girl….or well just about anyone who is staying in KL-you might want to follow the following guidelines here: Always walk facing against the traffic: So that the serial acid splasher will not attack you from the back. Besides that by walking against the traffic you will have a better chance of avoiding anyone who looks suspicious to you. Avoid walking by the side of the road: If possible don’t walk at the side of the road at all if it is unnecessary. You will be exposed and make yourself easy target for this serial acid splasher. Walk near the building where there are crowded people. Always bring along an umbrella: This might sound crazy…but I suggest that you bring along a huge umbrella with you. So whenever you see someone suspicious approaching you, immediately open that umbrella to shield yourself from any possible attack. Yes! Just open it even though it is not raining. Best of all use the umbrella all the time. Moreover your umbrella can be a potent weapon for you to defend yourself in dangerous situations. Inform the police of any suspicious motorcyclist: Banking on our lazy and inefficient Malaysian police alone is not enough. So the moment you see anyone riding a bike with dark complexion and looks suspicious…immediately take down the number plate and inform the police to come over as soon as possible. Who knows? Your information might lead to the nabbing of this serial acid splasher! Put on more clothes: I know the weather is scorching hot right now. But putting on an extra jacket or vest might buy you some time to escape the devastating acid if *touch wood* you are being splashed! Don’t go out at all: No matter where you go, try not to walk…at all. If possible don’t even go out if you don’t have any transport, preferably car. It doesn’t matter if the sundry shop is only 50 metres away from your home…you don’t want to risk being splashed with acid right? So ask your parents, husband or other family members to ferry you around if you can. Use as much water as possible: Water is the best remedy to counter the corrosive acid. The moment someone is being splashed with acid (either it is you or other victims), pour as much water as possible onto the affected body parts especially the eyes. Keep on pouring a large amount of water to dilute the acid. Keep on doing this until the acid has been diluted and washed away. So I suggest all of us to bring a water bottle all the time.
Are Edison and Cecilia "friends" again?
Hong Kong singer Edison Chen rocked the Chinese-speaking world with a sex scandal that involved a host of female celebrities, including singer Gillian Chung and A-list actress Cecilia Cheung in 2008.Both Chung and Cheung’s careers had spiraled downhill as a result. There were even rumours that Cheung’s marriage with actor Nicholas Tse was in ruins. In a 2009 interview, Cheung also blasted Chen for “shedding crocodile tears” in public and let on that he had never personally apologized to any of the female stars involved in the scandal.
Cheung had since given birth to Quintus, her second son with Tse and is well on her way back to showbiz. Former flame Chen had also had success in his business ventures and is currently focusing on expanding his fashion label. Then the unexpected happened last week when the two took the same flight from Taiwan to Hong Kong.Apparently, Cheung had requested if she could sit next to Chen when the pair met on the plane.Chen even offered her the window seat.Eyewitnesses said they were talking and laughing throughout the journey.Cheung was even seen taking pictures with Chen with her phone and they were said to have exchanged contact numbers. Cheung was in Taiwan that week to attend a wedding while Chen was there on the same day to promote his latest fashion collaboration with Taiwanese singer Jay Chou.
It was after their “accidental meet-up” that the media began to speculate if their meeting was pre-arranged. So far, a rep from Chen’s recording company has confirmed she had met Cheung on the same flight and had interacted with each other.

Jessica Alba Finding Second Pregnancy 'harder'
Jessica Alba is finding her second pregnancy "harder" than her first. The Little Fockers actress – who is currently expecting her second child with husband Cash Warren – explained her two-year-old daughter Honor Marie is constantly demanding to be picked up, which is taking its toll on her body. She said: "It’s a little harder on the body. My daughter still wants to be picked up and ever since my belly popped she’s really on me." Jessica also revealed hypnobirthing – a process which involves undergoing hypnosis during childbirth – helped her during her first labour, as she initially "freaked out". She added to People magazine: "I highly recommend it. It just makes you chill. I was freaked my first time going into labour, like, ‘What if I panic? What if I just freak out and am not prepared for it?’ This just prepares you." The 30-year-old screen beauty recently admitted becoming a mother had stopped her from being "selfish". Jessica said: "My daughter has put everything in perspective for me. You stop being selfish and driven in such a narrow personal sense, and you want to build a life for yourself and your family."

Patrick Arnold Schwarzenegger is taking his mother’s side. The 17-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver has followed sister Katherine in tweeting out about their father’s secret lovechild and tearing their family apart. Patrick’s revenge on Dad? He’s dropping his famous surname. Patrick revealed on Twitter that he now wanted to be referred to as Patrick Shriver. He also expressed his feelings over the bombshell revelations that his Sperminator dad fathered a child with a member of his staff, jeopardizing his 25-year marriage to Shriver. Steven Tyler Admits Trying Gay Sex
Steven Tyler "didn’t dig" gay sex. The Aerosmith frontman – who has four children from previous relationships – admitted to experimenting with other men when he was younger, but soon realised it wasn’t for him. He wrote in his new autobiography Does the Noise in My Head Bother You?: "Gay sex just doesn’t do it for me. I tried it one time when I was younger, but I just didn’t dig it."
