Selena Gomez has unveiled the cover for Selena Gomez & the Scene’s new album, When the Sun Goes Down, and we have to say, much like everything else the 18-year-old does, it’s pretty darn adorable. The singer-actress is all dolled up like a Fitzgeraldian flapper, with a hint of Cleopatra lurking in those thick bangs. But perhaps the best part is the fact that neither her pose nor her overall look is overtly sexy. Sure, she looks lovely, but she’s neither naked nor trying to make you picture her naked. Well done, Selena. Speaking of which, When the Sun Goes Down, is supposed to feature "Whiplash," a tune cowritten by Britney Spears.

Hong Kong singer Edison Chen rocked the Chinese-speaking world with a sex scandal that involved a host of female celebrities, including singer Gillian Chung and A-list actress Cecilia Cheung in 2008.Both Chung and Cheung’s careers had spiraled downhill as a result. There were even rumours that Cheung’s marriage with actor Nicholas Tse was in ruins. In a 2009 interview, Cheung also blasted Chen for “shedding crocodile tears” in public and let on that he had never personally apologized to any of the female stars involved in the scandal.
Cheung had since given birth to Quintus, her second son with Tse and is well on her way back to showbiz. Former flame Chen had also had success in his business ventures and is currently focusing on expanding his fashion label. Then the unexpected happened last week when the two took the same flight from Taiwan to Hong Kong.Apparently, Cheung had requested if she could sit next to Chen when the pair met on the plane.Chen even offered her the window seat.Eyewitnesses said they were talking and laughing throughout the journey.Cheung was even seen taking pictures with Chen with her phone and they were said to have exchanged contact numbers. Cheung was in Taiwan that week to attend a wedding while Chen was there on the same day to promote his latest fashion collaboration with Taiwanese singer Jay Chou.
It was after their “accidental meet-up” that the media began to speculate if their meeting was pre-arranged. So far, a rep from Chen’s recording company has confirmed she had met Cheung on the same flight and had interacted with each other.

The 17-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver has followed sister Katherine in tweeting out about their father’s secret lovechild and tearing their family apart. Patrick’s revenge on Dad? He’s dropping his famous surname. Patrick revealed on Twitter that he now wanted to be referred to as Patrick Shriver. He also expressed his feelings over the bombshell revelations that his Sperminator dad fathered a child with a member of his staff, jeopardizing his 25-year marriage to Shriver. "I love my family till death do us part," Patrick tweeted, then quoted lyrics by rapper Fort Minor: "Some days you feel like s–t…some days you want to quit and just be normal for a bit." Patrick also added the hastag #family. His comments came after those of Katherine, 21, who tweeted, "This is definitely not easy but I appreciate your love and support as I begin to heal and move forward in life. I will always love my family." Meanwhile, the scorned Shriver, who issued a statement Tuesday about this "painful and heartbreaking time," sought solace with longtime friend Oprah Winfrey. Shriver was a surprise attendee at Winfrey’s star-studded finale taping in Chicago last night and thanked the talk-host host for being a close friend for more than a quarter of a century. "For more than 30 years you have bestowed upon me the most amazing friendship," she told Oprah. "You have shown love, support, wisdom, and most of all, the truth." The audience erupting in applause at Shriver’s remarks. It’s sad to see the dominoes effect getting on the family. I think that’s how things like these breaks up the family.
